Here's the unboxing of the January Paper Pumpkin.  I was able to complete one of the projects.
Be on the look out for alternatives using this months kit.  I am hoping to even get a scrapbook page done too.

Vacation

Good Morning everyone!!
It has been a bit since I last posted a blog.  I was in need of a quick mini vacation, and left the cold of Colorado for the warmth of Florida for a few days.
Returned back and had 2 deaths in the family with in a couple days.  So it has been a crazy 10 days.

Also, I will be starting a new job on Monday!  Yeah!!  Excited about the new changes.

Until I get used to the hours and schedule of the new job, my video creations and blogging might only happen a couple days of the week until I get in a routine. 

I'll be posting a video here today that was made before I took the vacation.
I am hoping my Paper Pumpkin shows up today and if so, be watching for the video of the unboxing and possible project.

A Big Thank You

I love this card!!!  Maybe because I am using the Sheet Music stamp and I adore that stamp!

As with most all my cards, this one is a simple easy card  to create.

#SimpleStamping January Theme Valentines

January Theme for the #SimpleStamping is Valentine.  Very Quick and easy.  I realized after I had made the first card (card shown) that my Heart Punch had been discontinued but wanted to show this anyway because most of us stampers already have a heart punch.  You can see on YouTube a card using a heart stamp from this set in place of the punched out heart.  I will be posting the video later this morning here on my blog.

 

Happy New Year!!

Stamping up has started another great project for us Demonstrators, that is "SimpleStamping"
Each month, they will let us know the theme and guidelines.  Our goal is to show, you do not need to invest gobs of money to make beautiful cards!!!
This month, the Theme is Valentines and goal is to use only stamp, ink, paper and bonus, one Punch to create some wonderful cards.

Working with Magnets

This is a super fun project to work with kids. Even grownups get into it and create too many magnets lol

I used the stamp set Country Home item #147678 and magnets I purchased off Amazon.
I also used the Stampin Blends to color them in.

I loved this one!  The little stamps will be great to create backgrounds on my cards.

I have shown the Animal Outing below in the carousel because word is, January Paper Pumpkin will coordinate with this stamp set.
I also added the two color ink pads used in this months Kit.

Rooted in Nature Winter Wonderland

Hello Stampers!!

I got some down time and created 2 videos today using Rooted in Nature.  I will get the second one uploaded tomorrow.   I love using this bundle with these colors.  Great Guy cards with no frills and lace 👨

I know I will be busy the next couple weeks with family, cooking, baking and just having tons of fun but I do hope I can find some more down time to create a few more cards for you.

Update!

Hello Everyone!

As most of you know, I recently moved from Alaska back down to Colorado to be closer to family.  This Christmas Season is the first time I have been with all my family in years.  We have kids and grand kids coming to spend time as well so it is going to be very busy!

I am going to be taking a break from my Stampin Up business to spend more time with family.  I will do my best to at least check in once a week as time allows. This break will include this blog, FB and You Tube/ 

With the new year approaching, I am also looking at doing things differently with my blog and YouTube.    This break will give me time to get it all sorted out and have a plan come January 1st!  I am excited about the changes I will be making and can't wait to share it with everyone!!

My hope is that everyone has a super fun, safe Christmas Season and remember to take lots of pictures so you have plenty to create some beautiful pages come January!! 

Burlap Background with Rooted in Nature

I used the Burlap to create my background then used the Rooted in Nature Bundle set to create this card.  While making this card, I came up with a couple more ideas that I might see what I can do with.

Scrapbook Layouts using the Buffalo Check

Here's a 2 page layout using the Buffalo stamp  and the Christmas Pines.   After I completed video, I realized I forgot the place the extra lines on the Buffalo check on the second page :)  I don't think it really affected the layout tho.

Buffalo Check Background Stamp
